Life in Southwest France

This weekend I have made the third sojourn to France of my young life to visit my paternal grandparents, Sheila and Pablo, one last time before they return to Boston to enjoy the winter. By all accounts, I have been in an unusually foul mood, replete with high-pitched shrieks and lots of moaning and groaning. I was making good headway in transitioning off the breast, but I have deliberately regressed now that my Mommy is around all day. I saw my first live kittens out in the yard here in Cayhuzac and I was decidedly impressed. It made me want to have younger and smaller siblings that I could abuse accordingly. The trees here are very nice and I spend a great deal of time staring at them when I can pull myself away from my fingers, which are also a source of boundless fascination for me. The view is amazing in all directions and serves as a pleasant distraction when I am being a real pain in the ass. I have a big-girl playpen that I get to sleep in here and I also get to spend a few nights back in Mommy & Daddy's bedroom, just like in the old days. The playpen will accompany me back to Barcelona, so I will be able to get as rambunctious as I please at YaYa Cristina's. Well, I'm off to the Wine Fete of Gaillac. I'll write soon.
